Founded in 2017, Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) Professional Leadership Group provides leaders and emerging leaders the opportunity to make a difference in their community by becoming JFCS ambassadors and philanthropists. Bringing together philanthropic-minded individuals, ages 25-40, that have a passion for social service, participants will get an in-depth look at the role JFCS plays to help the most vulnerable members of our community. The program offers participants engaging and practical leadership training, networking, mentorship, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the community through the completion of a group philanthropic project.
Commit to raise a minimum of $1,200 per calendar year for JFCS. The JFCS Philanthropic Services team will track this commitment using its donor database. The commitment can be fulfilled through any combination of direct donations, gifts secured from third parties (i.e. companies, foundations, individuals), or ticket/sponsorship sales for existing JFCS fundraising events such as Brighter Tomorrow Luncheon. Commit to attending quarterly meetings.
The next phase of the Professional Leadership Group is forming now. For more information, please email Dr. Lorrie Henderson at Lorrie.Henderson@jfcsaz.org. To apply, fill out an application.
