ZOOM The Jews who made Broadway Part 1 and 2 with Marcia Weinberg
About This Event
- Event Type:Classes
From the early 20th century it was Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Jerome Kern and Rodgers & Hart who composed what became the American Song Book, filling the stages and screen with their melodies and words. It would be the same composer/lyricists -plus some new names- who would reinvent the musical in the 40's and with it, create a new and very American entity known as: THE BROADWAY MUSICAL leading to …...THE GOLDEN AGE OF BROADWAY.
