JFCS Welcomes Tina Lopez as Vice President of Philanthropic Services

Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) is excited to welcome Tina Lopez as the new vice president of philanthropic services. In her new position, she will lead the organization’s fundraising and development initiatives, cultivating relationships with donors and community supporters to secure annual, major and planned gifts. In addition, Lopez will oversee the strategic direction of marketing and communications, ensuring impactful outreach across the organization.

Lopez brings a deep passion for community service, shaped by her Midwestern roots and a career dedicated to helping others. After working in the real estate industry, where she helped first-time buyers secure affordable homes, Lopez transitioned to philanthropy amidst the 2000’s housing crisis. Since then, she has successfully built relationships with corporate, foundation and individual donors, raising funds for underprivileged communities, particularly those without a voice. In addition to her robust career, she also served as the president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2021 and is a Class 32 Valley Leadership alum.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tina Lopez as our new vice president of philanthropic services,” says Dr. Lorrie Henderson, president and CEO of JFCS. “Tina’s extensive experience in fundraising and her deep commitment to community service will be instrumental in driving our mission forward and strengthening our impact.”

As a passionate animal welfare advocate, Lopez serves as vice president on the board of directors for the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC911), advocating for neglected, abused and injured animals.

“I am honored to join JFCS, an organization with a long history of impacting lives. Behavioral and mental health are close to my heart,” says Lopez. “I’m excited to lead efforts to expand our philanthropic reach, empowering even more individuals and families.”
