Since 1997, Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) has been transforming lives through Creating Peaceful Families, a prevention, early intervention and community education program developed in partnership with public schools. This initiative equips students, families and school personnel with essential skills to navigate and resolve critical challenges. This includes divorce, family conflict, child abuse, domestic violence, bullying and substance abuse.
Through strategically targeted services, children gain the tools to develop healthy coping strategies, recognize and communicate difficult emotions and address problems before they escalate into crises or behavioral issues. By promoting resilience and emotional well-being, Creating Peaceful Families empowers communities to build stronger, healthier futures.
