Real World Job Development

Established in 2006, this program has helped countless young people aged 16 to 24 leverage their knowledge and skills to secure gainful employment. Participants have successfully pursued careers in diverse fields, including education, healthcare, veterinary services, small businesses and more.

The program is specifically designed to support current and former foster care youth, as well as low-income youth facing significant barriers to education, training and employment opportunities.

The RWJD program provides:

  • GED education & support
  • Job training
  • Paid apprenticeships
  • Case management
  • Job referrals
  • Guidance and mentorship
  • Individual/group living skills training
  • Information and other referral services
