Food Pantry Volunteers

The Just Three Things program was born out of the need to provide food for the youth transitioning out of the foster care system at our Real World Job Development Center. Since then, the collection of non-perishable food has expanded to meet the needs of our clients at the Michael R. Zent Healthcare Center, West Valley Behavioral Health Clinic, East Valley Healthcare Center, Glendale Healthcare Center, Shelter Without Walls, and Transition to Adulthood. Donating “just three things” may seem like a small act of kindness, but collectively these donations help to assure that children, teens and adults don’t have to go to bed hungry.

We've created a turn-key tool kit for individuals and/or groups to use in coordinating a food drive benefitting our Just 3 Things food pantry. Included in the tool kit are tips on getting started as well as samples of promotional materials and list of food items needed.

Food Pantry Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to collect, organize, and deliver food donations for our pantries at Real World and the Michael R. Zent Healthcare Center, West Valley Behavioral Health Clinic, East Valley Healthcare Center, Glendale Healthcare Center, Shelter Without Walls, and Transition to Adulthood. Learn the satisfaction of providing food for the underserved people in our community by participating in this volunteer role.

Food Pantry – Community Liaison

Help us reach out to other community groups by coordinating food drives to keep our food pantries well stocked. Community Liaisons promote a food drive, organize the collections and deliver these donations to our food pantries.

Social Distancing Option:

You can still socially distance and make a difference with one of the following opportunities!
